Breaking Down the Landscape In Watercolor
with Lindsay Isenhart
Saturday, March 15 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Ages 16 – Adult $55 ($50 Members)
This class is designed for beginner level painters who want to prepare themselves to sketch the landscape either when traveling, plein air, or to create small simple watercolors from their own photographs. We will break down the landscape composition into simple elements and learn to layer, glaze, and resist watercolor for short bursts of painting. Multiple small compositions will be in progress at once. You may bring your own photographs or inspiration to use in addition to provided resources. Students may bring any watercolor paints or brushes that they may have, or use the materials provided for the class. Watercolor paper journals are provided. We will break for lunch about 12:00.
