Sheryl Budnik is a dynamic painter from Grand Rapids, with work in major collections and private collections around the globe.

Sheryl’s artist statement:
“Water holds the greatest of magic for me.
Life is a liquid brew.
I grew up in the Midwest, near ponds and woods, close to the Great Lakes.
I paint the ocean now — while visiting friends near the Atlantic coast.
Travels have brought me other great and interesting waters. With passion and intuition — oil pigments, brush and knives — I paint this Water I love. Turner, Ryder, and Monet guide me — Soutine and the Expressionists infuse my artistic vision.”
