Understanding how to manipulate soft and hard edges is a fundamental skill in painting. This ability is a major contributor to the overall impact and effectiveness of any painting. When employed properly, edges can define shapes, create depth and dimension, simulate texture and guide the viewer’s eye. This workshop will emphasize ways to create and employ lost and found edges in order to create a sense of mystery, more fully engage the viewer and strengthen your painting’s impact.
This workshop is suitable for all watercolorists with at least intermediate experience.
