Teen Mini Masters - Watercolor Exploration Thursday, May 9 3:30 - 5:00 p.m. Ages 11-18 $10 Explore several different watercolor techniques like bleed, wash, resist, salt, alcohol, and acid dump in one frame-able work of art! PRE-REGISTRATION REQUIRED FOR ALL CLASSES
Under the Sea Saturday, May 11 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Ages 4-6 $7 Students in this class will use watercolor to paint the ocean and then add unique fish just surfing the waves. Cutting and painting techniques will be explored.
Tiger Repousse Mask on Stand Saturday, May 11 12:30 - 2:00 p.m. Ages 8-12 $10 Students will use metal tooling techniques to design and create a tiger mask with vivid colors and patterns. The mask can be placed in a stand for display. PRE-REGISTRATION REQUIRED FOR ALL CLASSES
Cactus Color Study Thursday, May 16 3:30 - 5:00 p.m. Ages 8-12 $10 Come and explore using line and color together with cacti as a theme. It is a lot like playing with design. Whimsical! PRE-REGISTRATION REQUIRED FOR ALL CLASSES
Clay Spring Flower Saturday, May 25 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Ages 4-6 $7 In this class students will design a spring flower with lots of color, pattern and texture! Flowers will be glazed the same day and ready to pick up after May 31.
Clay Tile Saturday, May 25 12:30 - 2:00 p.m. Ages 8-12 $10 In this class students will design a 6” square tile with lots of detail and movement. At the end of the class each student will glaze it with one selected color. Tile will be available after June 1. PRE-REGISTRATION REQUIRED FOR ALL CLASSES
Patterned Owl Art Thursday, June 13 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Ages 4 - 5 $7 Using paint, pastel, marker and recycled materials our little artists will have a hoot creating these owls.
Mixed Media Still Life Thursday, June 13 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. Ages 6 - 8 $10 Using painted paper, tempera paint, and oil pastels our young artists will design a colorful still life with blooms.
Crouching Tiger! Tuesday, June 18 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Ages 4 - 5 $7 Little artists will learn to cut, tear, draw and paint using tempura paints, markers, colored tissue paper to create a vibrant crouching tiger!
