Humble Houses with Dawn Campbell Thurs., August 11 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. Ages 16 to Adult $15 Use recycled a wild variety of artistic ephemera to create your very own little house. It can be spooky, it can be fun, a creative abode. Dawn will guide you through this fun creative exercise.
Summer Picnic Sat., August 13 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Ages 4-5 $7 Using a paper plate as a base students will use a variety of materials to design a picnic lunch complete with ants.
Canvas Color Study Tues., August 16 12:30 - 2:00 p.m. Ages 6-8 $7 Using artist canvas students will use tape to create a a brilliant geometric design. Next they will use acrylic paint and gradation techniques to add vibrant colors.
Life Drawing with Gesture Tues., August 16 3:00 - 5:00 p.m. Ages 12-18 $10 Students will create charcoal drawings from a live model using proportion, gesture, weighted line and blocking in of light values.
Fused Glass Nightlight Thurs., August 18 3:00 - 4:30 p.m. Ages 16 to Adult $45 ($40 Members) Use frit, glass paint, stringers, glass slide film, and fuseable glass to create a vibrant night light to brighten your home or cottage.
