Clay Turtle Box Tues., July 12 3:00 - 4:30 p.m. Ages 9-12 $7 In this class students will use a variety of clay building techniques to form a turtle box with the shell as the cover then glaze with a variety of bold colors.
Clay Castle Thurs., July 21 10:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Ages 6-8 $7 Imagine being a bird flying over a beach, a field, a town. Students will construct their own bird’s eye view landscapes from clay.
Textured Clay Owl Tues., August 2 10:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. Ages 4-5 $7 Starting with a simple pinch pot students will continue building an owl using their fingers and interesting tools to add special details.
Clay Slab Fish Tues., August 2 12:30 - 2:00 p.m. Ages 6-8 $7 Starting with a slab of clay students will design a realistic fish complete with textural details and finish with bold glaze colors.
Clay Musical Rattle Tues., August 2 3:00 - 4:30 p.m. Ages 9-12 $7 Students will use clay techniques to create a rattle filled with tiny balls of clay that will make a rhythmic sound when shaken. Brightly glazed and kiln fired. Very artsy!
