Beginning Clay Tuesday, July 9 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Ages 4 - 5 $7 Let us introduce your young artist to the art of working with clay. Students will use a pinch pot method and colorful glazes.
Clay Chameleon Tuesday, July 9 1:00 - 2:30 p.m. Ages 6 - 8 $10 Students will discover the unique features of a chameleon - color changer, sticky tongue, rotating eyes - while forming their own using a variety of clay building techniques.
Night-Scape Tuesday, July 9 3:30 - 5:00 p.m. Ages 9 - 12 $10 A gilded nighttime landscape created using painted papers and a variety of interesting techniques and materials. Edged with gold and silver paint pen. We can’t wait to create this piece with your artist.
A Bird’s Eye View Thursday, July 11 1:00 - 2:30 p.m. Ages 6 - 8 $10 All day long birds soar over us. Let’s imagine in paint what they see from their perspective.

Summer Sailing Saturday, July 13 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Ages 4 - 5 $7 Imagine using paint and markers to capture sailing on the gentle breeze of a Michigan lake.
Matisse Paper Collage Saturday, July 13 12:30 - 2:00 p.m. Ages 9 - 12 $10 French artist Henri Matisse was a trailblazing pioneer of the 20th century, and paper cut-outs were his greatest breakthrough! Make an Icarus Inspired paper painting!
Ants & Watermelon Tuesday, July 16 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Ages 4 - 5 $7 Here they come, one by one! Basic shapes, simple colors, and great fun will be had creating this delicious summer fruit still life with an army of ants!
Polymer Clay Beads Tuesday, July 16 1:00 - 2:30 p.m. Ages 9 - 12 $10 Learn three different ways to create artistic beads using polymer clay! Beads will be baked in oven last 15 minutes of class while students gather their necklaces and fittings.
