An Evening of Painting with Jane Stroschin – Spring Landscape

Come and spend a delightful and creative evening with local artist Jane Stroschin. In this class students will use a combination of abstract textural and realistic acrylic painting techniques to create their own version of a spring landscape on a 16” x 20” canvas. Both experienced and beginning students will enjoy this class

Inspire – Classes for Teens – December 13 – Acrylic Painting

Thursday, December 13 from 3:45-5:15 p.m.

Ages 12-18

These classes are funded in part by a grant from the FACF Youth Advisory Committee. These exciting and exploratory art classes are designed to give middle and high school students a chance to learn about art styles and mediums they might not get in a classroom. All materials provided.

In this class, participants will create a winter inspired landscape on an artists canvas using acrylic painting techniques. Wash, dry brush, spattering and masking will all be techniques demonstrated and applied during this beginner level acrylic painting class.

Studio You! – Mixed Media Pumpkin

Thursday, October 25 from 6:00-8:00 p.m.

Class Fee: $40 ($35 Members)

Ages 16-Adult

Vintage papers and acrylic paint will combine in this
unique addition to your fall and Thanksgiving decor. We’ll
begin with a fun collage created with a collection of vintage
finds on 12” x 12” canvas. Then we’ll trace a charming
pumpkin on to the canvas and finish it off with acrylic paint.
Take home a one of a kind piece!

Studio You! – Stacked Pumpkins

Thursday, October 4 from 6:00-8:00 p.m.

Class Fee: $40 ($35 Members)

Ages 16-Adult

It just isn’t fall without pumpkins, and these painted
pumpkins will stay pretty year after year! We’ll start with a
blank 10” x 20” canvas, trace our pumpkins, and then paint
with your choice of colors. You’ll look forward to pulling this
artwork out to enjoy every fall!
