Mixed Media Penguin

In this class children will use cutting, gluing and painting skills to create their own penguin.
Learn all about the process, materials and molds to cast in epoxy resin. Use your own stones (3/8 inch or thinner) or use ours to create a rock-hound keepsake epoxy resin trivet.
Come and explore a variety of art techniques that will be used to create a folded book that will surprise you. Mixed media.
What’s more fun than using clay to form an interesting iguana! Students will learn basic clay building techniques while creating a unique sculpture. *Students should plan on returning to the NCCA-Artsplace on their own time to glaze their pieces.
Learn to use COE 96 fusible glass to express the magnificent skies, deep blue waters, tumultuous waves, crashing against the rocky and sandy shores! This is a great project for beginners or experienced glass artists!
