Enjoy a selection of illustrations by west Michigan artist illustrators and browse many books written or illustrated by Jane Stroschin, Janet Hasselbring, Bruce DeVries, and Lori McElrath Eslick in the Jansma Gallery at NCCA-Artsplace.

Jane Stroschin

A Fremont artist who is both author and illustrator of several books as well as an accomplished painter and photographer. Jane has written or Illustrated several books for children, artists and adults.

Lori McElrath Eslick

Is an award winning illustrator with many published books to her name as well as a series of greeting cards developed through Hallmark. She leads workshops, youth programs and illustrates a monthly column with the Wyoming Wildlife Magazine.

Janet Hasselbring & Bruce DeVries

This partnership of author/illustrator has produced a seven book series, Tales from Pelican Cove, with lessons about relationships, as well as the migratory birds and wildlife of North America.
Janet Hasselbring resides in Spring Lake, and winters in Sarasota Florida. Janet is the recipient of the 2010 Hertel Children’s Story Award and the 2012 Adult Short Story Award presented my Marantha Writer’s Conference. Her family farm, Country Dairy, may be well known to many, she has published a book about Country Dairy also.
Bruce DeVries is a self-taught artist who works form his home studio in West Michigan. When Bruce isn’t illustrating books, you can find him outside as he also is an avid gardener.
