This easy beginner stemmed flower project will be condensed to a one day workshop with a short break for lunch. Choose from 4 patterns and create 2 stained glass stemmed flowers! In the morning we’ll trace our patterns, cut glass and fit with a little grinding. After lunch we’ll tape, solder and finish with a patina and wax! A great gift idea!

grant from the FACF Youth Advisory Committee.

INSPIRE art classes are designed to give middle and high school students a chance to learn about art styles and mediums they might not get in a
classroom. All materials provided.

Using glass cutting tools, frit, stringers and fusible glass, students will make a floral inspired fused glass sun-catcher or garden stake.

Pre-registration is required, we are limited to 5 people total and all participants are required to wear a mask over both mouth and nose.

Wet Felted Rose Workshop with Judy Grant

Ages 14-Adult
Come and explore the art of felting with instructor Judy Grant. In this class you will learn the basics of wet felting using layers of rich wool roving and silk. Each person will create a rose that may be used as a fashion accessory, as a brooch on a coat, hat, scarf or purse. No prior experience is necessary to thoroughly enjoy this class. Bring two old thick towels and a lunch.
