The Great Outdoors II, Ages 9-12

Come and explore the outdoor world around us through the use of creative art materials and techniques. Use clay to make a sculpture of the land from a bird’s eye view, create a collage using stones, sticks, sand and paint, make a multilayered print and create your own painted papers. The great outdoors will never look the same again.

The Great Outdoors I, Ages 6-8

The hoot of an owl, the buzzing of a bee, the blossom on a flower – each of these can be an inspiration for creative art pieces and interesting art techniques. We will be exploring three dimensional clay sculptures, reduction printmaking, painting and collage to capture the wonder of the great outdoors.

Walk Like an Egyptian, Ages 6-8

Summer plans: Become an archeologist. Book your tour with us this summer to learn about the art of ancient Egypt. Imagine exploring the tombs of King Tut, traveling down the Nile River, and taking a desert camel ride past the great pyramids. All these experiences will seem to come true as you create paintings, prints, drawings, collages and assemblages.

Passport to Adventure, Ages 6-8

Pack your bags we are going on an adventure around the world. Each day will be spent exploring the art and culture of a new country while experimenting with a variety of art techniques. Imagine swimming in the Great Barrier Reef or climbing into the Statue of Liberty? This will be a travel experience to remember.

The Four Seasons II, Ages 6-8

Class Fee $12.00, Ages 6-8
July 7-10,  12:30 – 2:30 p.m.

Each season is an opportunity to appreciate the changing world around us. In this class we will capture each season using a variety of materials and techniques such as watercolor resist, mixed media sponge painting, pastel drawing and clay sculpture.

The Four Seasons I, Ages 4-5

Winter, spring, summer, and fall. In this class we will use the changing seasons to inspire us as we learn about colors and composition. Students will be capturing the unique images of each of the seasons such as an autumn tree or a summer boat trip using a variety of materials and skill building techniques. Come and explore the beautiful world that surrounds us.

Creature Feature, Ages 4-5

Class Fee $10.00, Ages 4-5

Wings or legs? Scales or fur? The incredible world of animals will be the inspiration as we create art work using a variety of materials and techniques such as clay, painting and cardboard assemblage to develop our art skills.
