Mixed Media and Painted Paper Collage with Susie Rodriquez

Paper piecing is a form of collage that can create bold and whimsical illustrations. Students will use a large collection of painted and textured papers to create this wild cat character. Afterward the collage will be detailed with art pens and matted.

Come and explore using line and color together with cacti as a theme. It is a lot like playing with design. Whimsical!

Ages 4-6 $7
Students in this class will use watercolor to paint the ocean and then add unique fish just surfing the waves. Cutting and painting techniques will be explored.
Spring Tulips
Saturday, March 30 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
Ages 4-6 $7
Welcome spring! In this class students will use a variety of uniquely painted papers to create a patch of tulips. Cutting and pasting skills will be used.
Snowman Canvas Painting

Ages 8-12 $10
Learn some new painting techniques while creating a snowman on a canvas.
Painted Landscape
Sat., January 6 12:30-2:00 p.m.
Ages 6-8 $10
In this class students will learn about the art of creating distance in a painting using simple one point perspective techniques.
Snowman Painting on Wood
Thurs., December 21 3:30-5:00 p.m.
Ages 6-8 $10
Find a little joy in the holiday season by doing a few little paintings of a snowmen on little squares of wood. Students should be able to finish two ornaments perfect for decorating or gift giving.
Magical Winter Forest

Ages 6-8 $10
Using simple painting techniques students will create an impressive snowy pine forest.
Pottery Place Ornament Painting Day

All Ages $3 per ornament
We have lot of bisque ornaments ready to glaze, so we’re having a $3.00 ornament painting day! Please pre-register to paint your ornaments any time between 10:00 a.m. and 1:45 p.m. Saturday, November 25. Ornaments will be ready for pick up on Saturday, December 2.
